Louise has gained a wealth of experience throughout her career working in the NHS and private practice in London and Cheltenham including: NHS: Gloucester Royal Hospital, Cheltenham General Hospital, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, London, University College Hospital, Private: The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, St Johns and St Elizabeth Hospital, St Johns Wood, The Princess Grace Hospital, Marylebone.
As a specialist in women’s health for over 25 years, Louise set up the ‘PT Practice for Women’ in Harley Street, London, in 2006. She opened a second branch of the practice in Cheltenham, ‘Physiotherapy for Women’, in 2016 having moved to live in the area with her family. Louise is a state-registered physiotherapist and full member of the Association for Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP). She also attends national courses and international conferences to maintain her expertise and knowledge of new developments and the most up-to-date research in the field.
Louise is passionate about raising awareness about women’s health and holistic care, looking at the whole person, physically and emotionally. She believes in working within a team of dedicated professionals to help women achieve optimal health and well-being. As a result, she has established partnerships with local, like-minded specialists.
She provides an amicable, accessible and professional environment for patients. As a mother of two, she has a good understanding of many issues faced by the women she treats giving a level of empathy that is important when discussing and dealing with personal matters.
